Sellers might be asked to provide additional verification of their identity if they list items that are often favored by counterfeiters or list items on a site other than the site they originally registered on. The type of verification can vary, but in many cases the seller is required to become verified on PayPal.

もしセラーが偽造者によって好まれやすい商品を出品していたり、元々登録していたサイト以外のサイトで商品を出品している場合、本人確認を取るために追加で認証を聞かれる場合があります。このタイプの認証は様様ですが、ほとんどの場合セラーはPayPalにて認証することを要求されます。

1. Follow the instructions to confirm your identity with PayPal. (If you don't have a PayPal account, you can become verified when you create a PayPal account.)

To maintain a safe marketplace we sometimes restrict selling activity.

For example, sellers are required to meet a certain level of buyer satisfaction. If buyer satisfaction falls below expectations, a seller's activity might be limited.

Other restrictions can be placed on items that are often favored by counterfeiters. Although the majority of sellers offer genuine items, we help protect buyers from non-genuine listings by imposing the following restrictions:

• Sellers might need to be registered for a period of time before selling certain types of items or volumes of items.
  
  
• Sellers might not be able to use one-day or three-day listings for certain types of items.

If limits have been placed on your account, you can find out why by checking your seller dashboard or contacting customer support.

We can suspend a seller's account if the seller violates our policies or doesn't pay our fees, or we feel the account causes problems or possible legal liabilities.

We may also revoke or suspend a seller's Power Seller status if the seller violates our policies.

If your account is suspended, we'll notify you using the email address associated with your account and describe the reason for the suspension. If you didn't receive a notification or you're not sure why your account was suspended, go to the Messages area of My eBay and locate the suspension notification.

If your account was suspended because you didn't pay our fees, you can reinstate your account by paying the fees.
